Each year 120-150 students
apply to the RTV Arts program at Kingstec. This demanding Applied Arts
and New Media NSCC program is not for the timid or those who expect a
normal 8-3 school day. Radio and TV is anything but a regular day job.
It's a 'lifestyle' and a rewarding career but only for those who choose
to pursue it with passion.
30 students are accepted each
year for this 2 year adventure. Deadline for applications for next September
is March 1st/03 so apply early. Pick up an application at any NSCC Students
Services office or come see us in Kentville. You can also audit for a
day. That means you can spend an entire day with us in classes and studio
labs and decide if this is the creative environment for you. To audit
for a day, call Cathy Davidson (902-679-7361) at Student Services. She'll
set it up.
